In 2020, JWA was asked to contribute to the effort to streamline and improve the agency’s annual service planning process. JWA’s service included:
- Development of a Tableau dashboard integrating the agency’s schedule database with information on plans, projects and estimated cost changes. This tool was designed to allow fast comparisons for how scheduled service changed over time, and track costs against projected estimates.
- Review of cost estimating methods and development of new templates for use for future projects.
In late 2020, JWA provided a comparative analysis examining how ridership throughout the network had changed during the Covid-19 pandemic.
